Musikili Satellite School — Lusaka.
A little piece of Musikili, closer to home.
A little piece of Musikili, closer to home.
Musikili Primary School offers a unique educational experience for children from Grade RRR to Grade 7 at our main campus in Mazabuka. Our Lusaka satellite school extends the Musikili experience to families in the capital, offering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our youngest learners.
Located in the beautiful Leopards Hill area, just a few kilometres outside Lusaka, our satellite school enjoys a peaceful country setting with wide open spaces, shady trees and horse pastures. It is a wonderful environment for children to learn, explore and grow.
From January 2027 the satellite school runs Grades R, 1 and 2. In 2026 the class covers Early Years, Grade R and Grade 2.
The satellite school is day scholars only — there is no boarding in Lusaka.

The Musikili ethos, wherever we are.
At Musikili, we believe that children thrive in an environment where they feel safe, valued and encouraged to discover their potential. Our family-school atmosphere, small classes and individual approach to learning are central to who we are.
Our Lusaka satellite school reflects these same principles, providing young learners with a supportive environment in which to develop academically, socially and emotionally. While smaller in scale, the satellite school remains an integral part of the Musikili community, following the same educational ethos and curriculum as our Mazabuka campus.
Learning, playing and growing.
The same programme as the matching class in Mazabuka, with two longer afternoons for sport.
Our own classroom and playground
Our learners enjoy their own dedicated classroom space and lovely playground facilities, with plenty of room to play, explore and enjoy the outdoors.
Mirroring Mazabuka
The school day mirrors the programme at our Mazabuka campus as closely as possible, ensuring continuity in learning and teaching.
07:30 to 12:30
The school day runs from 7:30am to 12:30pm, with afternoon sports activities twice a week from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, complementing the Musikili curriculum and encouraging physical development, teamwork and a love of being active. On these days, learners bring a packed lunch and are collected at 2:00pm.
Fridays — horse riding
On Fridays, learners also have the opportunity to include horse-riding lessons in their school day, adding a special outdoor experience to their time at school.
A country classroom, twenty minutes from town.

Part of the bigger Musikili family.
Although based in Lusaka, our satellite learners are very much part of the wider Musikili family. Throughout the year, they join their fellow learners at our Mazabuka campus for whole-school events, including musical mornings, athletics days and swimming galas.
These shared experiences help build friendships, strengthen a sense of belonging and allow our satellite learners to experience the traditions and community spirit that make Musikili special.
Our learners wear the Musikili school uniform with pride, representing the same school community, values and identity as their peers in Mazabuka.
At Musikili Satellite School, we offer more than a place to learn. We provide a welcoming, country-style environment where children can build confidence, develop a love of learning and grow as part of the Musikili family.
